Evidence Register

Every claim. On the record.

This is the live register behind every performance statement on this site. Each claim carries its evidence state — from design target to accredited certification. When the evidence moves, this page moves with it.

01

How to read it

Six evidence states. Nothing is published as achieved until accredited evidence says so.

01
Certified
Accredited certification achieved and current. The strongest state a claim can hold.
02
Validated
Accredited test evidence complete; certification workflow in progress.
03
Tested
Testing complete on representative samples; report review in progress.
04
Indicative
Early-stage data. Indicative only — not for contracts or compliance.
05
Controlled context
Valid only within the stated controlled context.
06
Design target
The engineering goal. Explicitly not a claim of achieved performance.
Governance

When the evidence moves, the site moves with it.

The register is published from THOM's governed claims feed. Evidence state and approved wording stay connected.

Product position
THOM Smart Wall is currently a controlled working product progressing through prototype-to-product industrialisation and validation.
Effective Sept 2026
Controlled context
Thermal
Target c. R50, subject to final validated specification.
Effective Sept 2026
Design target
Fire
Reaction-to-fire classification route to be established under EN 13501-1 and fire resistance to be tested separately under EN 1364-1. No achieved A1/A2 or EI duration claim.
Effective Sept 2026
Design target
Acoustic
Acoustic performance to be established by accredited ISO 10140 testing; no validated numerical claim currently approved.
Effective Sept 2026
Design target
RF / EM
RF/EM attenuation is a target capability subject to validation; no numerical shielding claim is currently approved.
Effective Sept 2026
Design target
Structural
Structural/wind performance subject to accredited test/engineering validation; no canonical numerical performance claim currently approved.
Effective Sept 2026
Design target
Circularity
Aluminium components designed around recyclability/circular use; do not present whole-system recyclability percentage as validated without evidence.
Effective Sept 2026
Controlled context
Installation
Installation methodology remains to be validated through controlled pilot/field work. Do not present installation-speed assumptions as validated actual performance.
Effective Sept 2026
Design target

The register is published from THOM's governed claims feed. Evidence states follow the claims-governance ladder — target, indicative, controlled context, tested, validated, certified. Claims are dated and reviewed on a fixed cycle; superseded wording is archived, never edited in place.

Next step

Engineering first.

The same register governs every page of this site — the technology is only the beginning.
